Easel Card Instructions!

I was chatting to a friend recently who said she didn't like to make easel cards as she felt people didn't understand how they should display them.
This came up in conversation with someone again today so I thought I'd share with you the instructions that I include with easel cards.

This is an Easel Card

To display your card,

Place on a flat surface

Slide the front section back at

The fold and tuck it behind the

Raised greeting underneath.

I have made up a word doc. which contains this instruction 12 times. I wasn't sure how to add it to the post but I'll happily email it if anyone wants a copy!
If this helps one person my work here is done! lol
Thanks for popping in!

A Card & A New Blogging Buddy!

Hi all!
Today's card is for a Baby Boy!

I love lemon & blue together!
The image was a freebie eons ago from Cuddly Buddly! I'm not sure if you can still pick it up at their fab website!
I coloured the image with promarkers then cut it out with an oval nestie!

The matt behind is paper from my stash which I cut out with an oval scalloped nestie
The sentiment is from The Crafty Pad Designs.
I coloured it with promarkers, cut out with a scalloped circle nestie then mounted it on some foam tape for dimension. The lemon matt is self sdhesive vellum.
The card base is a scalloped square shaped.

I added ribbon from my stash & some buttons through which I have threaded the same ribbon.
A clean & simple project.
I'd like to say a big welcome to my lateset follower Leah Anne a big wave & thanks for following! Don't forget to check out her awesome blog when you get a chance! What she does with little Tilda is out of this world!

Happy Monday

Good morning all, I hope Monday finds you all well & looking forward to the week ahead!
Here's my latest DT card for the Monthly Challenge over at My Grafico!

This week the ladies on the Design Team were given this line art sketch by Mujka Chic to work with you can find it here!

Do pop over to the other DT ladies' beautiful blogs & leave them some love when you get a moment! We all like to know what you think of our work,
To make this weeks card, I used a shaped card blank to make a twisted easel.
I inked the edges with pink, using a sponge.

The image was coloured with promarkers & cut out using a nestie! I used spring colours as Lilies alway make me think of spring!
This is the first time I have tried to cut out a shape which is outide of the nestie & I think it worked quite well.
There are lots of tutorials out there which show you how to do it!
I inked the edges with the same pink.

The sentiment was computer generated & cut out with a smaller nestie from the same set.
The papers I have used were from my stash, I've had them forever!
They are from a pack of papers which were hand made in India.
The green ribbon, which you can just about see in the pic,was from my stash!
The MUM letters are glitterations stickers from Anita's. (This card is for my lovely mother-in-law, Joyce, for Mother's Day! Shhhhhhh!)
I also added a few gems just to finish it off.
Thanks for stopping by!
