Petticoats Three

Good Morning blogger peepers!
I hope you're all having a good week so far!
Here's another little card from me!

I went a bit out of my comfort zone with this one!
The image is Petticoats Three from Just Inklined.
I used an Elegant Square card base then added some Kraft paper,
which was recycled from a paper carrier bag. I did toy with the idea
of really scrunching it up but I just couldn't!
I tore the edges then added some design paper which I got in a
goody box from Craftwork Cards. I tore the edges of that too & distressed
with Spun Sugar distress ink.

The image was coloured up with a selection of Promarkes & Flexmarkers,
Then I tore the edges & distressed again using the Spun Sugar distress ink.

The organza ribbon & twine were recycled from a gift.
The flower is one of many I got from Lee, aka Crafty Loops ages ago!
(I am so careful about using them as they are so nice! lol).
I gave that a bit of the Spun Sugar treatment too & added the little
 pearl spray from my stash.

I added a little sentiment ticket which is by The Crafty Pad Designs
& a little photo corner tag secured with a brad.
Forgot to mention the die cut doily which is a Mariannes Design Die!
Thanks for dropping in, I hope you like what you saw!

  17. I would never have guessed you were out of your comfort zone, Dawn. A darling card, with whimsy. It's difficult using mostly pastels in a card, and you have pulled it off beautifully! Very pretty! hugs, de
