Candlelit Chapel

Good morning lovely blog peeps!
Are we all enjoying the warm weather???
I would be if my hayfever wasn't so bad!
The card I'd like to share with you today is for La Pashe.

This is a Behind Closed Doors Pop Up Card you can buy the whole lot
on a CD Rom or but as single sheet.
This is Candlelit Chapel.
So useful for many different occasions!
I made a little easel for the card to sit on & made my own flooring
by using Antique Linen, Old Paper & Pumice Stone distress inks,
then drawing in the flagstone lines with a Letraset fine liner pen!
I have to say I am no artist but I was actually quite pleased with the effect I achieved!

Here's a closer look at the inside! So much dimension but
so simple to make up. I'm sorry I didn't get a photo of the closed doors but,
I'll let you into a little secret about this card!
My poor pussy cat is unwell at the moment. As some of you will already know,
I do my crafting whilst sitting on the living room floor. I made my card up,
then left the room to do something else & when I came back,
ooopsy he'd been ill all over it! Eeeeewww!!! & Eeeeek
I quickly printed it out & made it up again (after cleaning up of course!)
just before hubby got back from work, wanting to take me out for
our usual Friday drinkies.  Phew!
That gives you an idea how quickly  these little beauties can be made up
once you have the idea of what you want to do in your head.
Thanks  so much for stopping by!
I'd like to enter this card in a couple of challenges:

Inspire Me Fridays - Anything Goes

Your Majesty - A Little Bit Of Fun

Hi di hi all!
I have to begin by saying Happy 4th of July to all our friends across the pond!
I hope you have a wonderful day celebrating!

Now, it must be Thursday as here I am with a card for
This little patriotic card is a foldback card.

I had a little bit of fun with this one!
As some of you will know, I live in Edinburgh & this week,
Her Majesty The Queen is in residence!
This card is in her honour!
The Royal Garden Party was held at Holyrood Palace this Tuesday
& it rained non stop! I can just imagine  Her Majesty remaining
outwardly calm whilst I'm sure she'd much rather be getting in a
buggy & heading for shelter! lol

The image is of course Your Majesty & is a snip at just $2
or £1.31 if you live in blighty!
I coloured the image with a mix of Promarkers & Flexmarkers.
(I'll let you in to a little secret, I coloured the image to
match some other papers but I got distracted & cut the paper
too small! As I only had one sheet I had to change things a bit!

The papers I have used are part of a pad
called British by Southfield Stationers,
the Keep Clam squares are part of the papers!
The lace, dew dops & gems are from my stash.

The inside of the card

Here's a side shot to let you see the fold!

The image I've used is Border Collie.

My stars were punched out using Xcut punches then layered up.
The bling is from Meiflower & the twine is American Crafts

The fab papers & sentiment are from Craftwork Cards

Mondays Child

Good Morning all,
I hope we're all well & having a great weekend so far!
Here I am with a little card I made for my Great Nephews 2nd Birthday

The image I have used is Mondays Child (b) from Mo's Digital Pencil
I love Mo's images, they are just too cute!
My GN was born on a Monday so this image was the obvious choice!

Coloured with a mix of flexmarkers & promarkers.
I kept the colours to yellows & greens as they are colours
which shout sunshine & summer to me!

The sentiment was made on the pc using a free font called
Sunshine Poppy  it's one of my favourite fonts at the moment.

The papers are by First Edition the stack is called Hideaway.
You can't see the inside but I decorated it in a similar fashion.
